Who am I?
I’m a wife and a mom. I am also a former tech entrepreneur, having successfully founded, built and exited two innovative companies in the e-commerce space. After I retired from full time work a few years ago, I have primarily spent my time volunteering in a variety of ways for organizations and causes I care about.

Chappaqua Farmers Market
Board of Directors
As part of the Board of Directors of the Farmers Market, I head up the SNAP/EBT program which helps provide healthy, fresh food to SNAP recipients. I also help collect and deliver food donations to the Mt Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, which often consists of 125+ pounds of food every month. My proudest achievement recently, though, was securing a sponsor this year (VDO Cardiology) who is generously doubling every SNAP dollar redeemed at the market. This is making a significant impact on our ability to help combat hunger in our local area.
Rotary Club of Chappaqua
Secretary
The Rotary Club of Chappaqua is part of Rotary International, 1.4 million people worldwide united in our mission to put service above self. We work on multiple service projects each year, and produce a number of fundraising events as well, which enable us to give tens of thousands of dollars every year to local and global worldwide nonprofits, as well as providing scholarships to local high school seniors. Some of our events incude Community Day, Drive In Movie Night, Charter Night, and the Pancake Breakfast. As Secretary, I am responsible for organizing meetings, sending out communications to the Club and commuinity, and supporting the President as needed. I also manage the website and some social media for the Rotary Club.
In May 2024 I was honored by my fellow Rotarians with the Paul Harris Fellow award.
Home Delivered Meals
Town of New Castle, Volunteer
The Town of New Castle has a program focused on delivering healthy hot and cold meals to our most vulnaerable senior citizens, who may be homebound or have limited mobility. This is what a lot of places call “Meals on Wheels”/ We deliver 5 days a week, year round, to 12=17 individuals. My role is as a volunteer and driver. I help organize the meals into packages for each specific senior, then drive to their residence and deliver the meals, often stopping for a chat and to check in on their well being. It’s an incredibly rewarding and important service that not many people in town know exists.
Byram Hills PTSA
Vice President of Membership 2023-24
I am a 10 year member of my school district’s PTSA, and this year’s Membership VP. My reponsiblilities include managing our 600+ member directory, as well as helping with the many events we produce throughout the year that either raise funds for the PTSA, or provide an activity or service for the kids and community.
New Castle CRE (Council on Race & Equity)
Founding Member (Disbanded in 2020)
I am extremely proud to have been a member of the original New Castle Council on Race and Equity. It was an incredible honor to help in some small part to create awareness of a variety of DEIB issues and concerns in our local community. The Council ultimately produced an action plan of 300+ pages of recommendations to the Town of New Castle, and at that time the decision was made to transition to an official Town Committee. Sadly, our town suffered a great loss when Ivy Pool stepped down as Supervisor due to personal tragedy.
We are still waiting for the Town Boards who came afterward to implement those 300 pages of recommendations.

Belonging: New Castle is an independent grassroots organization focused on issues related to our local community of New Castle, NY. Our work is driven by our shared values, not by party lines or political debts.
Our members come from every walk of life, and every racial, religious and socioeconomic background. We have formed a coalition around our shared set of beliefs in fairness, compassion and courage.
We coalesce around a range of issues that our members care about in our community, with a specific focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
